What's the difference between serviced apartments and regular apartments?
In Shanghai, it's quite difficult to find a regular apartment for a short stay( less than one year ).
Due to the high demand in the downtown area, most landlords prefer to lease long-term. With a population of 25 million, it's a large city with limited availability for short-term rentals.
However, there are branded serviced apartments available in downtown Shanghai that can be leased for periods ranging from 1-6 months.
What's the difference between serviced apartments and hotels?
The primary difference is space. Serviced apartments are fully furnished residences, complete with a kitchen and all necessary appliances, allowing you to cook and enjoy a home-like experience.
What's the minium stay if I want to book a serviced apartment?
Typically, the minimum stay is one month. However, options with higher occupancy rates often require a stay of at least three months.
Why shall I book serviced apartments through Ciao Space ?
We have over 17 years of experience working with serviced apartment providers, enabling us to offer you competitive monthly rental rates instead of higher daily rates.
OTA platforms ( like Booking.com , Agoda, Trip.com) charge daily rates, which tend to be much higher than monthly rentals.
Do I need to pay any commission or booking fees?
No, for stays shorter than three months, we typically assist with securing your booking, handling contracts, and related arrangements ONLINE.
For stays longer than three months, we are happy to show you various options and guide you through the selection process.
